Raise Funds. Give Hope.

Friends and Family,

I can’t stop thinking about the reality I recently faced on my visit to Ukraine—power outages every evening, the constant humming of generators, air raid sirens echoing, and fear etched on the faces of local women, children, workers, and taxi drivers. What I witnessed in Odesa was life changing and I want you to understand how desperate humanitarian needs continue to be. Daily life there is marked by darkness, uncertainty, and the constant threat of air attacks.

As Ukraine approaches the four-year anniversary of this devastating conflict, the country continues to endure daily assaults and a life filled with fear. Yet, amid this hardship, the resilience of its people is extraordinary—but their need is urgent.

Together with local partners, CWS is serving those most vulnerable: families displaced within Ukraine who've been forced to flee, women and children whose husbands and fathers are fighting for their country, and elderly persons left behind by families forced to relocate. As winter sets in and temperatures plummet, many families—especially women and children—are relying on generators for heat during frequent electricity outages. Rising prices, scarce jobs, and an increased need for basics such as food, medicine, and warm clothing make survival even harder.

CWS works hand-in-hand with grassroots organizations that reach those often forgotten—local groups that serve as the only lifeline for communities that might otherwise be overlooked.

As Mother Teresa said: "I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples." Let’s create those ripples together. Because of you, those in greatest need will feel seen, supported, and cared for - thank you!

  • $30 – Coats and warm socks for children
  • $40 – Purchase and delivery of prescriptions for hard-to-reach populations
  • $50 – Blankets for the elderly
  • $75 – Mental health support for a struggling parent or child
  • $100– A wheelchair for the elderly
  • $350 – A generator to warm a small home or apartment
  • $1,000 – Repairs to war-torn homes

My personal goal is to raise $2,000 as the four‑year anniversary of Russia’s full‑scale invasion of Ukraine approaches on February 24, 2026.

40 Days Until Four Years of War in Ukraine — Your Support Matters Now

Friends & Family:

In just forty days, the full‑scale invasion of Ukraine will reach its fourth anniversary. It’s hard to wrap our heads around the fact that families have been living with fear, loss, and uncertainty for nearly four years. No one should have to endure that for a single day — let alone thousands — yet people in Ukraine continue to show incredible strength.

As this fourth anniversary approaches, I’m hoping we can use the next forty days to come together and make a meaningful impact. Even small acts of generosity add up, and this is a moment where support truly matters.

If you’re able, I’d be grateful for anything you can contribute. Your help goes directly toward providing safety, relief, and hope for people who are still facing the daily realities of war.

Thank you for being part of this with me — it means more than you know.

Warm regards, Caroline
