Raise Funds. Give Hope.

The courage and tenacity of the Ukrainian people inspire us all.  As they mark the 3rd anniversary of Russia's brutal full invasion on February 24, 3.7 million Ukrainians have been displaced inside Ukraine and 6.8 million more are now refugees outside their country.  At a time when Ukrainians may feel alone in their struggle, you can show them they are not abandoned by contributing to Church World Service.  CWS is one of the leading humanitarian agencies in the world and has recently seen its funding slashed through government executive orders.  But CWS is soldiering on, providing care and comfort to Ukrainians at home and as refugees around the world.  Your $100 contribution will help CWS feed a Ukrainian refugee family in Moldova for a week.  You can show Ukrainians that the world has not abandoned them.  Keep their hope alive so they can one day return to their homes in a free Ukraine.  I hope to raise at least $5 for every day that Ukraine has been under attack.  Thank you for your generosity.

Ukrainian Refugees in Moldova

Tens of thousands of Ukrainian refugees have fled to neighboring Moldova, one of Europe's poorest countries. The Moldovans are overwhelmed and have asked the United States for help. But the recent Executive Order has stopped USG funds from reaching this desperate people.

CWS is on the ground in Moldova, and Ukraine teaming up with local and international partners to reach Ukrainian refugees and internally displaced with food, shelter, hygiene supplies, vital information and other services.

By caring for these refugees, you can help all of Ukraine as the country fends off a despicable Russian assault not only against brave Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines but also against Ukrainian civilians.

CWS supports Ukrainian refugees around the world, including in the United States where over 200,000 Ukrainian refugees have fled. Again, recent Executive Orders have cut off federal support for many of these refugees, even the modest aid they were told they would receive when they were admitted to the U.S. CWS is one of the top refugee aid agencies in the United States. Help CWS help these Ukrainians in their hour of need.
