Fundraising Tips

Let's put the "fun" in fundraising!

How to Have the Most Impact

Here are some tips to help you make the most impact through the Paws2EndPoverty challenge with your pet!

  • Share a link to your page on your Instagram profile.
  • Post photos and videos all over your social media accounts – and be sure to use the hashtag #Paws2EndPoverty
  • Join in on weekly challenges that will be starting up on Monday, March 8. And we'll have daily challenges the entire week of April 5 as well!

The Impact Your Fundraising Can Have

Chickens

Raising $15 is enough to provide chickens for a family. These animals provide a constant supply of eggs (protein) – and those eggs can also be sold to pay for healthy vegetables.

Mango Trees

Raising $50 is enough to provide mango trees to a farmer adding nutrition to their family's diet. The trees and roots help prevent soil erosion, which means healthier ground for future harvests.

A Beehive

Raising $60 is enough to provide a modern beehive to families in West Pokot, Kenya, who have been impacted by drought so they can generate income and develop small businesses.

A Goat

Raising $85 is enough to provide a goat to family in Haiti. And goats are a great deal! They produce milk, fertilizer and baby goats – and can be sold in markets so that families have income to meet other needs.

Two Piglets

Raising $85 is also enough to provide two piglets for a family in Myanmar. By raising pigs and selling piglets, a family can cover daily expenses like food and school supplies.

A Cow

Raising $470 is enough to provide a family in Haiti with a cow. These animals provide critical calories to round out a family’s diet. And calves can be sold, providing income for other needs like food and school supplies.
